VDownloader has stopped working

When I run the program I get the VDownloader startup picture, immediately followed by the "VDownloader has stopped working" pop-up window.
The same happens when I remove and re-install VDownloader, when the program boots itself after the installation.

I have tried many things like "run as admin" and compatibility modes. Nothing changed.

The, "Monitor the clipboard for URLs" option won't stay checked, and the program refuses to download anything ... since the last update. However, I can change other options and those changes persist. For example, the next option, "Immediately download video URL's copied to the clip!" persists whether I turn it on or off.

I haven't been able to download anything from Youtube. It just says 'Error'. I've never had a problem before and I've tried on different occasions and with different videos.

Vdownloader won't open

After installing the app onto my microsoft it won't open.

I click the shortcut on the desktop, it looks like its about to open but then stops completely and nothing happens. I have already checked and seen I have .Net Framework running already if that helps.

VDownloader Plus won't open

Hi. Days ago I installed VDownloader's free version. It was working just fine. Then at one point

I tried to update the software. After that it stopped working. I thought it was because I was using the free version, so I uninstalled it and bought the Plus version.

When I installed the full version it still woudn’t work. The icon appeared but when i try to open nothing happens. There’s no error message or any kind of notification. It just won’t open. (My OS is Windows 7)

Incomplete download mp3 from Youtube video. Only downloads 20 seconds.

I have VDownloader v5.0.4277 unlimited.

When I attempt to download a YouTube video to an mp3 file, the download seems to be going fine, I get the "Done" message. However the file only contain 10 to 40 seconds of music, more often around 20 seconds.

I have many different YouTube videos.

I have tried to download playlists and individual videos.

I have reinstalled many times and problem remains.

I have sent a request but got no answer.

When I try to download something from youtube an error shows up.

It's error 403. I can't download any music from youtube.

The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.

I'm using VDownloader Plus version 4.5.2973.0. Whenever I try to download a video from YouTube, either as an MP4 or MP3, I'm told "[Warning] The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden."

I tried the Perform Test button in the Help tab and I was able to download from some other sites, but YouTube still remained unable to download. What is the solution, if any?

I'am Antonio, Using Windows 7 pro

I used before VDownloader version 4.5.3407.0 was ok and upgraded recently to version 5 Beta was also ok! till..

in 24-25 march 2020 I downloaded few little youtube and vimeo videos, after 3-4 videos with my version 5 - all youtube videos - ERROR!

I installed back version 4.5.3407 - the same problem ERROR on youtube, and Can't acces video on Vimeo.

Now, always I open VDownloader is down the message Internet connection not available! and UP - on the blue band - Internet connection could not be established! Please check the proxy settings! and the programs make a error sound every few seconds.

I have the versión 4.5 2880 0 I pay for the plus versión,and the program cant acces to the internet, it put me a message internet connection is available, and 2 seconds after put me internet connection its no available and its the same thing every minute. in options / connection its a place to put a proxy but i didnt use proxy, i turned off the firewall but its the same thing. please help

Comprei a licença de instalação do VDownloader, mas este, simplesmente, não funciona mais em meu computador.

Já o desinstalei, reinstalei-o, porém nada resolve o problema.

E agora? Perdi o dinheiro empregado na compra. Isto está certo?

Solicito orientação para colocar o VDownloada Plus em operação.

Em 30/abril/ 2020, recebi e-mail da 2Checkout / Vitzo com o link para download e a chave do VDownloader

Providenciei a instalação conforme instruções, mas o programa não está funcionando. Ao abrir o programa na parte superior fica oscilando com uma mensagem que não há conexão com a internet, solicita configuração de Proxy (vide destaque - imagem 2).

Enfim o programa não funciona, colo o link do vídeo que pretendo baixar, mas o programa não responde, não acontece nada.

Meu sistema é Windows 10 64bits, WiFi residencial (particular).

It loads but won't open.

I have installed the new version of vdownloader and is always giving me the same message "This specific executable is not a valid application for this SO platform"

After updating to latest version vdownloader displays the loading picture then closes :-(

Program updated to version 5.0.4191 then stopped working at all.

VDownloader was opened then wanted an update and after update I ended up with to shortcut Icons on the desk top and it will not open. I went to your web site downloaded the software uninstalled the program rebooted and installed from the version 5.0.4191 download file and the program still freezes on startup. So don't know what the problem is just does not open.

I get the message "Unable to obtain required initial information about this video" for every file. It doesn't matter if I copy the URL into the download tab of if I use the search tab to find it on youtube. I am running VDownloader 5.0.4319. This product used to work for me.
