Hello people. I just purchased the plus version but it keeps popping up a message saying that internet connection could not be established and to check the proxy settings. However i dont really understand those settings What should i do?
hey. yeah I just updated the new version 4.5.3407.0 its currently not connecting to anything. it's a dead stick. this does happen with vdownloader periodically, I've been using them for years. the creators will need to make a fix. usually because Microsoft, youtube and others frown on copying, so they change system structure to block connection. it shouldnt be too long for a fix, I hope. I wonder if we can get a response for vdownloader as to when we can expect a patch or fix? this sucks. might browse around for another downloader. but my experience is, that if one downloader is having the problem, others are as well, but I still might try.

Update 10:30am - just downloaded - 4K Video Downloader - version 4.11.3.3420 - 64bit for windows - works great. I have the newest Microsoft edge browser and operating system.

downloaded a youtube video perfect. fast. many download options to choose. free. also has a payable version. not sure about free version download limits per day, if any. may do in a pinch until vdownloader gets sorted out. may just use this downloader exclusively if it serves well for extended use. seems to have no ad popups so far. seems clean.... cheers!
