User Manual

Do you have an user manual with step-by-step instructions on how to start doing various activities,

ie, downloading, file conversion, playing a video, and burning?

I just installed your VDownloader and updated to the latest version.  I launched the program but could

NOT figure out how to start downloading a video.  Your quick answer would be appreciated.

Thanks very much for your quick reply.  I especially appreciate the 'work around' methods it will be great help

I'm glad that you were able to figure out how to download your favorite videos.

Regarding those two URLs:

1) That URL isn't a regular YouTube URL, and therefore isn't detected by VDownloader. What you need to do in this case is to click the YouTube logo at the bottom right-hand corner of the page. It will take you to YouTube's "normal" page. You can then copy the URL that is shown by YouTube. In this case, that would be: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRFq7K4vCSk

2) We are going to fix this in the next update. There is a workaround though: Please click the "paper plane" (labeled as "Share") in the top right-hand corner of the page, and then click in the URL that is shown. It will take you to the video's page (https://vimeo.com/107995891). That one should be correctly identified by VDownloader.

Thank you very much for your reply with three answers.  I now figured out how to use 
copy & paste URL to do the download.  Tried a few URLs and some worked
while some did not.  May be those were set up not for downloadable? 
 
Here are the two URLs which I could play it within my email (Hotmail.com)
but could NOT be downloaded in VDownloader program:
 
 
 
Could you try them out and let me know are they downloadable?

Dear Joseph,

There are three main ways to download a video using VDownloader:

a) by copying a URL: http://www.screencast.com/t/MVglstyFy

b) by searching a video: http://www.screencast.com/t/ABWXZ88ro

c) by using the built-in browser: http://www.screencast.com/t/J2HlLrJkAEwe
