Vdownloader says this
http://www.liveleak.com/ll_embed?f=51fe948515b4
is not a video URL.
But browsers play it just fine, and liveleak.com is supposedly supported. What's the secret?

This is due to that URL being a embed URL.
In this case, what you need to do is to click the "Share" button on the right side of the player, and copy the "Video link" URL. It should be http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=bc0_1423721020 for this video.
Rest assured that we're going to further improve VDownloader so it supports embed URL's as well. Sorry about that.

Did it work with that URL I sent you?
Does this setup work the same with more-explicit sites, i.e. is there usually a button like the 'share' button you mention there too? (I like to be able to not have to look at the site when I DL from it, to avoid embarrassing others in the house)
