Lost downloads
Hello!
I queued a lot of downloads in the downloads tab. They were all paused and disappeared after turning off the computer.
I would like to know a way for not happening this anymore.
Thanks!

I have hundreds of older video clips that have disappeared although they are still in the downloader folder. Isn't there an option to to reactivate/scan/copy etc. that list without having to re-download the clips or using another video player?????
In previous version the tile size could be set to small - this option has disappeared.
Hi KConstant,
As I mentioned in another topic, the Play tab will be reinstated once we improve it. The tab itself had some issues which were being reported by other users and that we couldn't fix in a timely manner.
Meanwhile, you can right-click any of your downloads and click on the "Open folder" option. Provided that your videos are all in the same folder they will all be there.
Regarding the tile size, we have removed the "Small Tiles" view as it was highly redundant and similar to the "Tiles" view. This meant having to maintain two separate views which were quite similar, thus preventing us from using our time to work on other features and improvements.
Please note that while removing features mightn't sound good for you, we are doing it so that they can be worked on and improved. We believe that you will be quite happy once you get to see how good the Play tab will work.
Thank you for understanding.
Best Regards,
Diogo Alves @ VDownloader
Thanks - right-click any of the downloads and then the "Open folder" option has returned all my old clips. Besides I can also change the size of the tiles using the standard windows features. The large tiles take a lot of space; on the other hand a picture, even a small one, may contain a lot more info relevant to a video clip that a long title...
In any case, this time your advice was very helpful and I can live with the remaining minor software flaws.
Thanks again.

Hello
This issue has been treated in the latest release, which will be available later today.
In the mean time, if you actually TURN OFF your computer without properly closing the application, the paused downloads will not be saved. Please, always close the application before you either physically turn off your computer or use Windows "Restart", "Shutdown" or "Log off" options.
Best Regards,
Vadim @ Vitzo.
