For better than two weeks NOW, my problem has been I get the message, "This video is unavailable".  What I have done, 1. Emailed VDownloader support about two weeks ago...NO RESPONSE.  2. Googled my problem,  NO HELP.  3. Removed the program though my control panel and reinstalled from my VDownloader + CD, I could not load my Key to upgrade to the + version, this was still NO HELP.  4. Removed program AGAIN through my control pane and reinstalled from YOUR website...STILL not working and STILL get the same message, "This video is unavailable".

Please let me know what to type to the Proxy and Port labels.

The internet is not available and vDownload asked me to enter the Proxy and the Port.

I know that the Proxy is my external IP right?.

But I don't know the Port.

I am using Wifi from my Laptop.

Many of the videos (720p) I downloaded on 12/19 have no sound. Version 4.5.3407.0.

That is odd because the 45 or so videos I downloaded yesterday all worked perfectly.

A couple of day ago the videos I downloaded did not convert while today almost all of them did and they did so very slowly. What is the purpose of this conversion? All the videos I download are downloaded at 720p and are MP4's.

Seems myself and others are having issues with trying to download videos from You Tube here in the last week or so.  How soon will this issue be fixed?  I've messaged you all twice now within the last few days but still have not heard back.  I also sent a message on your Facebook page but seeing as you haven't posted anything within a year, I doubt the page is active and messages will be seen.

I just downloaded the free version 4.5.2973.

I have a youtube url.

I only wish to download the audio - no video.

What do I do?

The internet connection on the current version of free vdownloader keeps disconnecting and immediately reconnecting.  Consequently unless using high speed broadband (which seems to be able to cope with or overcome this issue) any downloads fail immediately or soon after starting.  This is definitely a new issue, not experienced with any of the earlier versions I've installed.

I have an issue with VDownloader (4.5.2867.0).

Whenever I try to download a video (regardless of the format that I choose), I get an error message stating that ‘there is no free space for download’, while I have upwards of several hundreds of gigabytes of free storage.

Additionally, on startup the application minimizes to just above the start button, as can be seen in the screenshot below.

I have already tried updating the application and I have also done a re-install (including deleting what I believe to be the configurations stored in the %localappdata% directory),

Hi Vdownloader use to work on IPad, fine for years, but  this week

when i go to search it just runs out of time and that's that.

Program dose not find anything as it runs out of time searching.

This is my second demand for a refund. Notify AvanGate and me when you proceed.

To reiterate, I was happy with VD Free and decided to reward you by paying for VD Plus.

VD Pro demanded an immediate upgrade.  After the upgrade, I had only Free.  Then my computer went away.

I bought VDownloader Plus. I entered the registration number but when I go to the converter to convert the videos I downloaded from Youtube, it doesn't work. VDownloader doesn't want to convert the videos and it's the same when downloading them. When I choose MPEG or DVD PAL next to the url it doesn't convert it so I can only watch the videos on the computer.

What's the problem?

the 'report a problem' from the software does not work. All It gives is an hourglass after pressing the submit button and nothing happens.  The reason I originally tried to contact you is I tried to download this video and all it does is display a spinning wheel. It just sits there and spins.
